Thank you Fabricland lady, for glaring at me like you want to scratch my eyes out when I asked you about my lumpy stuffing issue.
I know it was a dumb question but really, did you have to use that tone of voice? Couldn't you tell that I was already embarrassed to be asking the question to begin with?
According to the lady, "that stuffing isn't for stuffing dolls it's for quilts. You need to use this kind. And you can't just stuff huge chunks in. You have to pull it apart and soften it first."
Oh.
ha ha! I wouldn't have known that either. I used to have a similar experience whenever I went into the fancy knitting store in my city, the ladies always seems snarky about my inexperience until I bought REALLY expensive wool one day and now they are nice to me... :)
ReplyDeleteI do find craft and fabric store ladies kind of intimidating...maybe it's just me, but I don't think so (all the time, anyway - don't want to generalize, since I know you fabulous craft/fabric store ladies are out there somewhere - please come work in my town)!
