Well, when I was supposed to be working on my report cards on the March Break, I ended up surfing some of my favourite decorating blogs for inspiration (more like procrastination).
I discovered that my top three favourite decorating blogs each featured a room with horizontal stripes. See pictures:
They have stripes in their boys' room as well as their main floor hallway.
They have stripes in their dining room, hallway, and landing.
They have stripes in their cozy reading room.
My conclusion: Horizontal stripes were a good choice. Yeah!
I love that hallway, and that cozy reading area is so....cozy! I want to crawl into it with my book!!

ReplyDeleteNo, we haven't gotten the bookcase yet. Pottery Barn doesn't normally ship in Canada but they will make an exception because they messed up. They said they wouldn't get the dresser in until next week, they hope, and they will call us when it's ready to ship. Sigh!!!
Don't they know how much money they would make off of me if they shipped from their catalogue to Canada!?!?!?

ReplyDeleteHey, I started another rag quilt! Just a small, lovey-sized one for my niece! I'm going to try and finish it tomorrow. Today is report cards and tomorrow day is 2 birthday parties that each of my boys is going to at different times. Hopefully by 5pm, I will be sitting down to tackle it!
I have no idea how you've been able to start and finish a project in one night. I can only work on something for 20-30 minutes and then I need a break. It takes me f-o-r-e-v-e-r. It's ADHD I'm sure of it. I'm like that with everything. Rake a pile of leaves, go do something else, vacuum one room, go do something else... heh heh heh.
