Uh oh. I hope this online-fabric-shopping-thing doesn't get out of control. I just ordered the cutest fabric ever.
My rationale is that the ugly fabric from my local quilt shop costs about $15 / metre, whereas the cute, super-awesome fabric from Etsy in the States costs about $8 / yard. So according to my calculations, it works out to about the same. I'm obviously not a mathematician so if I'm way off, please tell me.
I ordered a half-yard bundle of 8 different fabrics (Summer Song in Orange by My Minds Eye for Riley Blake Designs). I also ordered a yard of another really fun print (Love U - Flowers in Rosy Red by Deb Strain for Moda Fabrics).
I ordered both from The Sproutz Store on Etsy.

ReplyDeleteHave you heard of this company (below)? Canadian (free shipping in Canada!) and oh-so-cute. I ordered a pattern and was very pleased w/ the customer service and product. I often drool over their fabric...and they often have sales and monthly draws for free stuff!

ReplyDeleteI've checked out Pink Panda Fabrics a few times (but not lately so must do that later). The free shipping in Canada part is awesome. I haven't ordered anything yet but probably will once I have another look.
It's so hard to find online fabric shops in Canada. If you find or know of anymore, please send them my way!!
