Two of the above photos inspired me to paint my living room, dining room, sun room, and entranceway a warm, buttery yellow. Can you guess which two photos?
You and I have VERY similar tastes - good thing we don't live close together, I get the sense we could do some real damage with our credit cards if we were set loose to shop together. :) My kitchen is a lovely, sunny yellow and it's my favorite room first thing in the morning.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I LOVE this. Iv'e gone for yellow in my dining room recently, even though I swore I'd never have it in the house. It's an amazing yellow, though - a bit mustardy, a bit grey, nice and complex. Can't get enough.
ReplyDeleteI love so many of those pitures above, but especially the first (because it reminds me of MY yellow, although I'm not crazy about the wicker chairs), and the door from real simple. SWOON!
You should move into my house - the entire main floor is yellow! Gotta say though for me - every last inch of it is going.

I love yellow! I have the prettiest handsewn yellow curtains and bed linens that are double sided. One side is a floral, the other checked. I like to put them into the mix during the dreary winter. My favorite pics from above are the yellow doors (everybody does red now but the yellow is really pretty) and the picture of the yellow tin chairs with the ruffled table cloth. I have a 3 tiered yellow ruffle vintage dainty platter that would fit well in that room.

ReplyDeletelove yellow! it's so happy and sunny! the main living areas of my house are yellow. they have been for the last 8 yrs. and when i repaint, it will be w/ yellow again! one of ur inspiration pics is inspiring me to paint my kit. cabs yellow!
