Well, I survived the first day of school. Sort of. Alex had to pick up supper 'cause I was/still am that exhausted. So much excitement and commotion on the first day! I can't believe I have to wake up and do it all again tomorrow. Ahhhhh!
Anyway, I haven't been working on my house because I've been working on my classroom.
Ready to see some awesome dollar-store decorating? Oh yeah, I can guarantee that this is the only time you will ever see me decorating with neon pink, green, purple, blue, and orange. Some of my co-workers make fun of me for having so many baskets and labels. Little do those 7-year olds know that they are going to learn some serious organization skills this year in Grade Two. Hee hee hee!
Gotta gowork on my cubby/shelf makeover write up tomorrow's lesson plans. Hope you had a great long weekend!

P.S. 'Member that pie? It was scrumptious. If only I had made two. Or three. Or ten. ;)
Very cute, you must be a very fun and dedicated teacher!
ReplyDeleteWow. That classroom looks super cool and friendly. I do NOT remember any of my classrooms looking anywhere near as nice when I was a kid. I remember them being drab and dismal, usually with this weird dark green-grey marble effect linoleum on the floor, and very little colour anywhere else.
ReplyDeleteYour classroom is really cute. I'm craving some pie. Yours looked delicious!

ReplyDeleteVery cute and organized classroom! I sure miss not teaching the little ones, it was so much more fun to decorate a classroom! I now have a 5th/6th grade combo and they don't appreciate it as much! Have a great day!
