I've been thinking for some time that you dear readers deserve some sort of special present for signing on to read my insane ramblings and for always leaving such sweet, motivating comments. I'm just a wee bit addicted to your comments and feedback.
Summary: I like you.
I never imagined that I would ever have 226 followers. I remember when I only had 4 or 5 of them. They were all my fellow adoption peeps that joined on just so I wouldn't cry (thank you girls). I'll never forget when I joined my very first "link party" in July of this summer. I had no idea what I was doing but I entered the furniture makeover challenge at The CSI Project. My little striped table and chairs made the top ten. After that, I was hooked.
I've always dreamed of doing something more creative for a living. My ultimate dream would be to have my very own home decor shop with tons of cute, cozy, cottage-y things. Of course everyone in my town would stop buying their furniture from Leons and my shop would become a huge success. Sigh. Anyway, this little ol' blog kind of fulfills that creative side for me.
Summary: I like blogging.
I've been trying to think of a fun giveaway item and the lightbulb went off yesterday. How 'bout I give away an alphabet rolling stamp (just like mine)? All the ones I've been able to find are imported from Asia and are sold on Etsy. I got mine awhile back and LOVE it.

Chance #1
1. Just be a follower of this here blog. It is kind of the point of the giveaway in the first place, eh? (Had to put the "eh" in there, hee hee!) Leave a comment letting me know that you follow along. If you've been reading in silence for a long time, this is your chance to finally say hi!
Chance #2
2. Leave a comment letting me know what project or craft you would do with your own alphabet stamp. This is not a ploy to steal your ideas (my eyes are suspiciously averted to the ceiling right now).
Chance #3
3. Spread the love and mention this giveaway on your Blog, Facebook, or Twitter. Leave a comment letting me know that you did. I am trying to get to 250 followers, ya know. :)
I follow along, love this giveaway {i commented on the wrong post the first time haha}
ReplyDeleteI and a HUGE fan of labeling with numbers spelled out. I might do that or I LOVE the christmas tags or writing little notes. It's perfect!
ReplyDeleteSarah! I was online last night searching for this stamp and didn't find it. Never thought to look on etsy. This is spooky. Yes, I am a follower!
ReplyDeleteI could use them for my Thanksgiving place cards. But that would be cutting it close to Tday. I'd love to use them on gift tags. Or to label a shell collection in a shadowbox.

ReplyDeleteI would definitely use the stamp to make tags like you did because they are so cute, and probably birthday cards, etc. But I would also really like to find a cute way to organize and store things for Owen, so I would use the stamps to label lovely boxes with things like "art supplies", "musical instruments" and "finger puppets"! Then I would know where they go when he pulls everything out and throws them on the floor! Cute organization makes me happy! :)
ReplyDeleteI am a follower! Saying Hi from Nevada ~

Comment #1:
ReplyDeleteNot trying to be a copy-cat myself, but we started doing some Christmas tags earlier in the fall (you know, when we thought we'd have time to make a zillion and sell them), and the very cute letter stamps I bought are trickier to use than they look. So a stamp like this would be great.
And, I would also be quite likely to stamp random things in my path - cats, dogs, walls...just watch out. (Ok, maybe not walls).
Comment #2: Duly posted on Facebook to help you attract lots more followers!
ReplyDeleteI"m a follower

ReplyDeleteOo, count me in! I never win anything, but I might as well try. Congrats on the 200+ =) Oh yeah, and I'm a follower.
ReplyDeleteSince Christmas is on my brain, my first project would be gift tags. I love those kinda stamps!
ReplyDeleteI'm a brand new follower!
ReplyDeleteAnd I would totally use the stamp to label an old card catalog that needs new labels in my dining room. And I would make some of those adorable tags too...
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! Yay for 266 followers!
ReplyDeleteLove the stamper Sarah! Love your blog...I follow...and totally love your style!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kitchen input too! I had planned to go with carrerra marble countertops until I found out how high maintenence they were...who knew? Back to the drawing board...
Gift tags...cute little gift tags like yours!
ReplyDeleteI follow ALLLLLLLLLL the time
ReplyDeleteWhat would I do with the stamper..hmmmm well.. I would use it in a photo album that I have yet to fill and would use the stamper to label the photos on the side notes.Love the tag idea. Have you tried stamping ribbon? Not sure if it would smudge...but it would be cute if you tie a little bow and stamped the words Merry Christmas on the little tails... And I would probably use it on my calender that I have on my fridge... and would find lots of places to use it. Unfortunetly as you know I don't have facebook, twitter or a blog but talk about you at work alllll the time and tell people to come visit cause your pretty much wickedly awesome and you rock! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! I would love these stamps for addressing old fashioned envelopes!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!
ReplyDeleteMy project? Hmm, well, the little ones' baby books, def. And tags for my upcoming closet organizing. Christmas tags. My outgoing mail (how fun would that be?!)
ReplyDeleteI saw an idea a while back that I've been wanting to do where, after you've framed family photos with mats, you label the names, place, date or whatever directly on the mat. This would be perfect for that!
and I just tweeted about the giveaway! http://api.twitter.com/#!/pltmarket
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your blog :)
ReplyDeleteI am following..just found you today!!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to make some Christmas ornaments for my baby's first christmas... I also used it at my mom's house (2,000 miles away) to make a cute little bird ornament for a friend's new baby and I stamped her birthday on it. I would LOVE to have this stamp, bc there are so many uses. But mostly I think it would be fun for cards and for when I write letters- to stamp cute sayings on the outside...I like to decorate the envelope.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win a stamper - It would be great for Christmas labels- I've been a follower for about 3 mos.-Dee in BC
ReplyDeleteAlready a follower to your awesome blog, congrats on 200 followers! You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteSummary: You are awesome!
I'm just leaving this here (!) comment to let you know that I'm one of those silent followers....I have no blog, I have no talent, but I do know a good idea when I see one. Back when you posted about the alphabet stamper, I immediately went to Etsy and bought one. It is so great and I'm having so much fun with it. So if, by chance, I am randomly chosen for this giveaway, put my name back in the hat and draw someone else. Because this little stamper must be shared with the masses.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteI would use the stamper for all sorts of things: making cards, labels for organizing, gift tags, notes for my husband, etc. :-)
ReplyDeleteI posted on my fb, too!
ReplyDeleteI just started following your cute blog thanks to my friend who posted it on her blog. :) Looking forward to many cute ideas...
ReplyDeleteI would use it for making thank you cards and labels. I love labeling things!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! And think your blog is adorable...congrats on passing 200!
ReplyDeleteAs for how I would use it, I might loan it to Santa so he can make gift tags for my boys. Its neater than his handwriting!
ReplyDeleteThis is TOO CUTE! I would LOVE to make my kids personalized stationary cards!
ReplyDeleteIt seems as if I stumbled across your adorable and fun blog at just the right time. I would love the opportunity to win.. oh, the things I could stamp! :)
ReplyDeleteI am now your newest follower. xo
I just bumped out Debby as your newest follower ;) I would love to win the stamp, I am all about those tags!
ReplyDeleteI follow!!
ReplyDeleteChris
I would use the stamp by combining your "hello" picture idea with a Christmas theme... something cute to hang up in my kitchen, or maybe place cards for Christmas, or maybe wrapping paper??? So many ideas!
ReplyDeleteChris
I follow!!
ReplyDeleteI follow!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower!
ReplyDeleteI would used the stamp for labeling my baskets, boxes, and office magazine holders. I also LOVE the tag idea for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love this giveaway idea! I had no idea these stamps existed, but I am loving it. I like your cute holiday tags. It would aslo be great for labeling/organizing or even addressing envelopes for invitations. So fun!
ReplyDelete1. Love this stamps! LIttle rewards for my little homeschoolers. You know some cute bug stamp and you did great!
ReplyDelete2/ I am a follower.
I'd label everything in my home - and make cards that would have jokes on them for my kiddos lunches!
ReplyDeletewell OF COURSE i already follow you...my cyberspace friend. thanks for the entry.
ReplyDeletehmmmm, i would most certainly use the sweet stamp for something in our boys' room...perhaps framed...you know, tiny words, matted with a thick contracting coloured border and a chunky frame. i love chunky. i think i may also let the kind mama in me emerge and share it with my boys...and then frame their art. :) thanks for the entry!
ReplyDeleteand now i've just gone and fb all about sweet little YOU. thanks for the 3rd entry my friend
ReplyDeleteI am a follower and I tutorial try-er! ;) I would lieky use this stamp for personalized stationary and christmas tags! So sweet! Thanks so much for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteYou are almost there...I'm #249!!!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
First thing I would do with it...I would be a copycat and make some of those cute gift tags like yours. Second thing...maybe use it to sign our family name on our Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
I think I'm #250 my friend!
ReplyDeleteyay for you!
I've stopped in from time to time and always felt inspired and decided maybe I should stick around for a bit to get the day to day "ramblings" as you call it :)
I would love to try to stamp fabric with it!
ReplyDeletethink it would work?
Sarah! I not so secretly read your blog to be reminded and inspired about the coziness and cuteness that I will someday have in my renovation project/log home.
ReplyDeleteLately I've been into making cards for people instead of buying them. Partially because I'm cheap/drowning in reno debt, and partially because the manufactured sentiment of mass produced greeting cards is long ago lost on me. I would use the stamp to bring my cards to the next level of awesomeness.
OR I'd give it to Jeni for Xmas, but it's more likely that I'll just make her a card to soften the blow of her losing and ME WINNING!
*fingers crossed*
I tweeted! https://twitter.com/#!/Mandipidy/status/5032814395265024
ReplyDeleteHere's my chance#1 at this awesome stamp!!
ReplyDeleteI have been a follower for a few months now,
LOVE YOUR BLOG! I use FeedDemon for my blog feeds and youre at the top of the most followed list. ;) Im a new blogger, only a few posts so far, its slow going and hard to do with my real job looming overhead. Stop on by if you get a chance. This blog baby is definitely still in diapers, but Im working on getting into Toddler stage!
Here's my chance#2 at this awesome stamp!!
ReplyDeleteHere I am again! Right off the bat, I think it would be cool to use this stamp to stamp the inner lip of my kitchen cabinets with the contents. I am constantly telling hubby what goes where. Since the lip isnt seen when they are closed, only once you pull them open a bit, he might actually find (or replace on the rare occasion) stuff! Also, it might help mother-in-law who leaves clean dishes on the counter in fear of putting them in the wrong place. heehee!
Here's my chance#3 at this awesome stamp!!
ReplyDeleteMe again... I will mention this giveaway on my blog. However sadly, because I am a brand-spankin-new blogger and have no followers, it wont do you much good in reaching your goal. :(
Such a fun giveaway! I am already a follower and if I were to win, I would be making Christmas cards....which I really need to get started on!
ReplyDeletePs- love the eh? as I am also Canadian!
I am a new follower

ReplyDeleteI am a follower
ReplyDeleteI would love it for gift tags and cards. No more messy hand writing!
ReplyDeletei'm a new follower of your pretty blog!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to make jewelry tags for my shop.

ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! Love your blog!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to make gift tags! I'm always looking for new ways to do those.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower and I'm in love with the new stamp. If I won I would make Alex a lovely dinner and take Rorey for a long long walk with a big stick to toss. And I would stamp "Thank you on my forehead!"
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower/Subscriber!! Thanks for the opportunity to win :)
ReplyDeleteBasically, I'm not that creative and I just copy ideas :) I have been thinking of how I'd dress up my cookie boxes that I give to friends and neighbors for the holidays - and so my first project with this stamp would be your gift tags above :)
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely use it for making cards...gift tags. Labels for homemade cookie gifts.

PS...I would use the stamp in this really neat project I am making for my friend's children. I am embroidering cute little pics of birds on antique linen and then I am going to frame them in white frames with mattes. It would be really nice if had a neat little stamp to put their names on little labels under the pics. nudge, nudge, wink, wink;)

I have been a follower for about a month or two. I love following a Canadian blogger, b/c I'm Cdn too.
ReplyDeleteI would probably stamp everything I owned. I could stamp christmas cards, tags for presents, I'd also like to label my containers of food, and a nice stamp would do a great job.
ReplyDeleteHooray i am following you now!
ReplyDeleteLove to stamp! I would use this one to make my thanksgiving "grateful" wreath, where we stamp leaf shaped scrapbook paper with things we are grateful for and tie them t a grapevine wreath with ribbon and jute twine.
ReplyDeletePosted a link on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and always love your craft projects :)
ReplyDeleteI would totally use this to make cute little tags and finally make a really cool set of Library themed invitations.

ReplyDeleteOmigosh, I've never seen one of those before but it would be perfecttttt to add to my stash! I am a new follower! Very cute! I would use it for changing up my frame art. Just found your blog and enjoy it. Liked it on FB.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog from somewhat simple and just became a follower. You have such a fun style!
ReplyDeleteI would use this lots of ways! I love to do parties and I think it would be a really cute and easy way to label things. I have a cricut that can make a lot of cute shapes but it is a pain to print out on the paper and then make sure it is lined up just right before I cut out the shape. It would be nice just to cut out all the tags and then stamp right on them. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've been a follower for a while :)
ReplyDeleteI would probably use that stamp for cards :) I love making my own cards but I hate my own writing.
ReplyDeleteI mentioned it on facebook, I pinky swear!
ReplyDelete(My profile is private.)
I like your blog. You are seriously converting me to white.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the place cards. I think I would stamp everything, including the kids.
