Well it's about time I finished the tiny antique chair that goes with my tiny antique desk. I really should have done them at the same time but I just get so darn bored tired from sanding and painting and sanding and painting. I definitely know I wouldn't be able to make a career out of painting furniture. Wellllll, maybe if I had a paint sprayer it would be different..... :)
The chair is so tiny that I'm amazed I can fit on it at all. If one of the legs breaks though I'll know I've let myself completely go. ;)
I can't wait until I've got both the desk and the chair in the living room all set up. It will be the perfect spot to stash my laptop when I'm at work or when I'm not using it. Which is rarely. Note to self: Less time on the computer and more time on the elliptical machine.
A few readers have asked me for a step-by-step on how I paint and distress my furniture. Aw, thanks for asking. Hee hee. I'll be working on that post next. I hope. It won't be anything fancy though.
I tied my little cinnamon heart to the top rung of the chair with some twine. It's cute.
I'm kind of obsessed with my little ceramic drawer with the plant in it. I move it around the house almost every day. And yes I know I love using it in almost every picture. It's just so darned cute!
Done!
