He-eeeey. Just wanted to give y'all a quick update on the 'ol blog (and my hair).
I kind of broke my blog. All of a sudden my blog header looks all fuzzy and low budget. I hate that!?! Then, yesterday, when I was adding a new page I did something by accident that messed up my menu underneath my blog header. It's back to the old blogger page menu instead of my new Blogmilk template menu. Is there anybody out there who knows how to fix this? I've even stumped my computer nerd husband with this one!!
Update: Alex just texted me after reading this post to tell me that I didn't "stump him". Sure, honey. Sure.

In other news, I'm sitting under the dryer at the hairdressers with knots in my stomach because today is the day when I'll be saying goodbye to my lovely (but fried) blonde hair. In case you thought I was a natural blonde (hugs to you if you thought that) I'll share my deep, dark secret. My natural hair colour is brown. Dark brown. Really dark brown. My hairdresser told me it was time to say goodbye. Deep down I knew she was right. So here we go. Ahhhhh!

Good luck with your blog and especially your hair!! My sis went from blonde to black and got mixed reviews (my mom hates it), but I think it's cute. Can't wait to see you.

ReplyDeleteHey I thought you were a natural blonde! I'm blonde right now and my natural colour is dark brown. Of course, it hasn't been "natural" in 30 years. I'm usually brown or red but I thought I'd try blonde. Mixed reviews. I like it but I don't like the condition of my hair so probably going back to brown for the fall. J

ReplyDeleteYour hair looks beautiful. I've never dyed my hair but as I got older, and especially after having babies, my hair got darker...brown instead of blonde. But I don't do well with chemicals so I just had to get used to it. In time you will get used to it and hopefully find your beautiful self in your natural dark locks! oxox

I figured you were a bottle blonde but you had a nice tone to it. But with your dark brown eyes brown is the way to go...don't worry the first brown coloring after being bleach blonde will most likely turn "ash" brown within a week or so...so, it's not like you are gonna be super dark brown at the moment. You look YOUNGER with brown hair! :)

I was a little skepticle at first when you said you were changing your blonde 'cause I really liked it (I myself being a blonde for sooo many years,that I don't even know WHAT my real colour is anymore)but you took the leap and it looks awesome! Wow, I love it. You look great with both, but the brown totally works on you too. I am one who tends to change my hair color rather frequently, all shades of blond and brown, and some red too.
