In my last post I mentioned that the photos I snapped of some vintage items on our road trip all reminded me of pictures that I've seen and/or pinned lately on Pinterest.
Pinterest = My One True Love. (Sorry, Alex.)
So here we go. (Click on the collages to see the Pinterest pictures in greater detail.)
Green farmhouse lights:
Chippy corbels:
Vintage scales:
Antique bells:
Vintage cheese graters:
Chippy old cabinets:
Isn't it funny that I can't for the life of me remember any facts or important information (I seriously have the worst long-term memery ever) but I can remember in a split second that I saw a picture of a collection of bells hanging from strings or a chippy green/wood cabinet with doors on Pinterest weeks or even months ago.
I guess the point of this post is that if you see a cottage-y photo you love on Pinterest or on a blog, it can be fairly easy to replicate the look. All you have to do is drag your hubby and baby on a shopping road trip and dig through some quirky little shops.
Hee hee!
P.S. All images were found on Pinterest and I'm working on compiling an original source list. :)
P.S.S. I have no idea if any of the above items are vintage or antiques but hey, it sounds good so what the heck. ;)
Love the chippy cabinet and of course the round graters:)
ReplyDeleteThose round graters were a pretty good deal! The one on the right was priced at $10. :)
ReplyDeleteI love everything you've posted too, all of it! Maybe we're twins or something... I dunno.
ReplyDeleteBloggy twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love antique shopping. So much to see, we can spend hours there and never want to leave. Which antique store did you find these awesome items from?
