Tee hee, little you is so cute! And the Coopster is so handsome and like a real kid! How did that happen? Ugh, the summer went so fast, it sucks! I can not imagine having to go back to work after a year and a half:( But that's awesome that you got the half day thing approved...my sister-in-law is a teacher and she does this too...sounds like the perfect deal!! the mornings are one of my favorite times too. Good luck, you can do it!!!

All the best with your transition - I don't work now (I homeschool) but I remember leaving work and rushing to pick up my (then) toddler and loving him being in my arms again. Now, he's in my arms whenever I want!!! :-)

I'm so jealous!! In the best possible way, of course. Half days with the kid will be fantastic. You'll get the best of everything - a reason to get up and get dressed and look nice, and a reason to rush home at noon. PERFECT!!

I was wondering if you'd be going back to school this year. Congrats on the half-time leave and good luck with the scramble! I just found out on Wednesday that I'll be teaching a Grade 2/3 class as an LTO next year so I'm feeling the crunch, too. Luckily I have inherited the classroom of the most organized teacher ever. Enjoy what's left of the summer!
