I LOVE your blog, and I just wanted to let you know that I could never get sick of the 'boring reno stuff'. I LOVE seeing what people do with the 'bones' of their places. Looks like you're doing a great job so far!
Anyways, we just moved into a house that has old-ish (54 years) hardwood flooring. The floor in our bedroom is in quite bad shape, and we'd like to sand it and re-finish it. My question is, have you ever painted a hardwood floor? The slats don't have any space between them, and I'm just scared to commit before hearing of anyone else that has done it! lol

I really want to know how you managed when you were working full time, renovating AND blogging? Where did you find the time to blog? I started, but I find working full time exhausting (we're renovating as well, room by room all by ourselves) just didn't make time for it (everywhere I read about blogging mentioned how it can be a full time job if you let it)

I'm in that awkward stage of growing up where I'm well out of college, but haven't set up my "decor style" yet. How did you manage to reason with yourself to get rid of all the old mismatched furniture and splurge on matchy items? Was it over night or did it take years to phase out the old items?
