Hey Lauren,

I have one book that I've been using for a few months. It's called The Healthy Baby Meal Planner by Annabel Karmel. I really like it!

I recently purchased The Best Homemade Baby Food on the Planet by Karin Knight as well as The Baby and Toddler Cookbook: Fresh, Homemade Foods for a Healthy Start by Karen Ferreira Charity Ansel. I haven't tried any recipes from the newest two books yet because there are still so many I want to try from the first book!

P.S. I'm pretty sure you can Google the author's name and some recipe ideas will come up on the internet if you don't feel like buying the book. :)

I heard from a few other moms at the playgroup that 8-9-10 months is a good age because they can have a bit of fun.

The lessons actually start at 4 months but a few moms said it was a bit too young for the kiddos to enjoy it.

I'm excited and I'll let you know how it goes!

Sarah- he is so precious! I LOVE the picture of him sleeping!! Melts my heart! You will have to let us know how swimming lessons go- I have never taken any of my other boys to swimming lessons that young, I have usually started them around two so let me know how it goes with Coopster! And you should definitely go somewhere warm!!

The containers with the smiley faces came with the Baby Bullet (from Toys R Us). They sell extra baby bullet containers at Canadian Tire too.

The glass ones on the left are tiny glass lock containers. Costco was selling them about 6 months age and Homesense has some too. They are great for reheating since they are glass!
