We have Target here in Australia and it's been here for at least 20 years but it really doesn't sound as good as yours (even tho' ours is gradually improving) and we certainly don't have a Starbucks or any type of foodie thing in it - that would be a real shopping experience!!! :-)

I had my first Target experience over the weekend too. I'm Canadian but was at Target in Bangor. It was heaven. I swear I had heart palpatations the whole time. I wish I would have had more time,but the gingerbread latte (from Starbucks) made up for it in the end!
I have heard from some friends that the ones in Canada tend to be not quite as nice and have a very familiar "Zellers" vibe. Did you think so?

The customer service is also impeccable. They will go out of their way to make you feel welcome, promptly responding to your emails or calls. They take their time explaining things to you.

I just got back from Target. Target is my favorite. I don't really know what it is...being able to buy almost anything in one trip, cute stuff, decent prices, snacks at the ready (do you have a Starbucks in yours?) to make shopping more fun, clearance end-caps, blah blah blah. I just know I love it and would probably not be able to make it in a town without one! lol! Is that bad? I hope not.
