We will be siding the whole house, including the porch area by the front door. The porch used to be enclosed so that's why it didn't have any siding.

We thought that an open front porch would have so much more curb appeal!

Even before I saw your choice I also picked the Harvard Slate. Great choice! Don't stress yourself out with the decisions. Your choices are always spot on! Can't wait to see the finished project if the weather ever improves. Seriously winter take a hike already. Your gray is beautiful but the gray out my window is not! Loved the Cooper post. He is so adorable. Remember to go with your gut, it is always right!
