Do it. Try it. You are right, if you hate it you can paint over it. I had a love hate love relationship with the stencil. Try #1 not good. Try #2, good. A little OCD correction later and now I love it.

I love geometric stencils and wallpapers, they can add a touch of class without being over the top plus they suit a room that is meant to be neither masculine nor feminine. As a feature wall it will look lovely, so step out of your comfort zone and DO IT!! As you say, if you don't like it you can always paint over it.
